Coverage: 4 data processors, 10 POS (on the mainland and Juist), 3 vending machines

Based on the HKS CustomerCard and ticketing system the new TöwerCard system was introduced on Juist in 2010. This was the first step of a targeted destination management that includes not only a card system for Juist but also connects the services of Juist’s administration as well as those of the shipping company Norden Frisia.

The new system is an online system, which enables the sale of all services and benefits via POS, web or at vending machines. Enquiries and advance bookings can be processed faster and more easily. On top of this, the amount of administrative work is greatly reduced, waiting times are minimised and smooth and easy departures are ensured.
